CSF - Library

The CSF Library and Periodicals Collection contain an extensive collection of specialised texts on federalism and European integration. Acquistions also cover the topics of global governance and international organisations.
 

The Library currently contains the following:
  • Archives of the Einstein Centre for International Studies (CESI) and the Turin section of the European Federalist Movement (MFE), including roughly 4,000 volumes, published primarily between the late '40s and the '90s.
  • The Gianni Merlini Archives, including more than 300 volumes regarding primarily federalism and European integration, kindly donated by the family.
  • A collection of over 400 degree and doctoral dissertations and thesis addressing issues of interest to the Centre, written and awarded between the first half of the '70s and the present.
  • Recent acquisitions, in English and French for the most part, on the latest developments in the process of European integration, on supra-national federalism, contemporary federal experiences, decentralisation and globalisation in its various forms. These additions to our Library bring the total number of volumes to nearly 12,000.
  • Current issues of roughly 70 reviews and bulletins on European and international policy (in the areas of jurisprudence, economics, politology and political history), as well as official publications of EU institutions and periodicals published by pro-European organisations and movements.
  • Historical collection of more than five hundred Italian and international professional journals on the European integration process.
